In Memory Of  Vic Longbon

Vic Longbon has a long and distinguished membership with the Jet Model Society. Vic was indeed a gentle man with a dry sense of humour and cutting wit. When you got to know Vic you appreciated has character and humour.

As an aeromodeller, he has left an indelible mark on Jet Modelling as well as almost every area of our sport.  His attention to detail made him one of Australias’ top scale modellers. I had the pleasure of judging at the Nationals when they were held in Perth and Vics’ skills were evident. He won many trophies at Jet events he attended throughout Australia. He was secretary of the Jet Society for a number of years. 

Quietly spoken, but intense, Vic would go out of his way to help and advise. Aeromodelling in Perth has lost a wonderful man and aeromodeller. Goodbye Vic. We wish his friends and family our deepest sympathy.
